Iraqi Soldiers may be committing ISIS like War Crimes

In Iraq US. trained soldiers are committing war crimes. These war crimes are on par with those committed by ISIS. There were pictures posted on social media of torture and beheading. There have also been child executions and mass executions.  

There has been investigations started by the Iraqi government as well as the UN. Humans rights groups have reported the Iraqi government's abuses. The US. has stopped funding the training of Iraqi units in Iraq until further notice. It is unclear on how the funding goes to or doesn't go to the military. The US. government spending millions of dollars to train these men and with plenty of problems with the training itself this is just one more thing to deal with. There is many things happening in the Middle East and we'll see how this goes as well,

Teen Taken from Father

Back in September a 15 year old boy was taken from his father in Aarhus, Denmark. He was taken from his father in fear that he was being radicalized. He was attending Grimhoej Mosque which is a controversial site because it openly supports ISIS. The teen reportedly told a classmate that it's "okay to kill Jews" and "that it is OK to be a suicide bomber if infidels are the target." And authorities were worried that he would become a radical and the father would send him to ISIS.

The mother divorced the father in 2012 and was worried for her son "because he showed an interest in a "holy war"." Then later the boy was taken from his father.
 Many more teenagers and adults have fled from countries to join ISIS.

 

U.S. Sends Military to the Ukraine to Train Army

The U.S. military announced on Monday March 2, 2015 that they were sending military forces to Ukraine to train Ukraine's National Guard. This is to help with the civil war that is currently going on in the Ukraine. 

Currently the war there is between the Loyalists and the Separatists concerning Russia. It is a bloody war and is currently ripping a country apart at the seems. People are being displaced in this war.

The U.S. will be sending a battalion to help train Ukraine forces by the end of the week. US 173rd Airborne Brigade Commander Michael Foster made the announcement from Washington, he also said that they were not funneling weapons into the war torn country. The US is training them in security, medicine and how to protect themselves in an artillery strike. This is meant to strengthen law enforcement, internal defense, and maintaining the law.    

There is some slight worry form America because the US spent billions of dollars to train Iraqi and Afghanistan forces and much of that money was wasted.
