Obama Sends War Bill to Congress

On Wednesday President Obama submitted to congress a draft legislation that will allow military action against ISIS or ISIL. This is because ISIS has the ability to threaten both the middle east and the west (United States of America). The President was vague in the draft and on the mission to please both parties in Congress. Democrats don't want to spend a lot of time or money fighting ISIS, and the Republicans want to reserve the rights to use ground troops if necessary. Obama is using careful wording to rule out certain types of operations. Obama still wants to be able to use troops for rescue missions and other important missions as well as airstrikes to take out key positions. The President wants it to remain intact for three years and be renewed if needed. Another key proposal is that American troops will be able to pursue enemies of the state.  No one wants another Iraq ground war that have been going on since the Bush administrations and Obama wants to repeal the 2002 use of military force against Iraq Resolution . Obama is keeping the 2001 authorization against al-Qaida in place.
